Historic Vancouver Junk Removal

Officers Row, Vancouver WA Junk Removal

Officers Row is a row of restored nineteenth-century houses on the north edge of the Vancouver Barracks. The buildings are protected and the grounds are public, so jobs here call for tight parking, careful carrying, and no marks on anything.

Where We Work Around Officers Row

We cover Officers Row and the surrounding historic district, including:

  • Homes along Evergreen Boulevard
  • Properties adjacent to the Vancouver Barracks
  • Streets bordering Fort Vancouver National Historic Site
  • Nearby central Vancouver residential blocks
  • Offices and event spaces in converted historic buildings

If access is limited or the building is protected, tell us in advance and we will plan the route in. See residential service.

What We Haul Away Near Officers Row

Older homes generate a particular kind of job. We regularly remove:

  • Attic and basement accumulation from long-held homes
  • Old furniture, mattresses, and rugs
  • Renovation debris from restoration projects
  • Appliances and scrap metal
  • Estate and downsizing cleanouts

We take extra care on stairs, thresholds, and original floors. Nothing gets dragged.

A Little Officers Row History

Officers Row is one of the most historically significant parts of Vancouver. The National Park Service describes it as twenty-one restored homes built between 1850 and 1906, which housed U.S. Army officers stationed at Vancouver Barracks.

The buildings were restored and adapted for continued public and private use, so this is a working part of the city rather than a museum piece. Living or working in one of these houses means occupying a piece of Pacific Northwest military history, which is exactly why we treat the properties carefully.

Officers Row Landmarks

The Row itself is the landmark, with the Grant House and the Marshall House among the best known of the twenty-one homes. The George C. Marshall House was built in 1886 as the commanding officer’s residence and is open to the public.

Officers Row sits immediately beside Fort Vancouver National Historic Site, which the National Park Service manages as part of a larger historic reserve including the reconstructed fort and the surrounding parade ground. The whole area is walkable and heavily visited, which is worth knowing when scheduling a truck.

Getting Around Officers Row

Officers Row runs along East Evergreen Boulevard just east of downtown Vancouver, close to Interstate 5 and served by C-TRAN routes through the central city. Access is straightforward, but the streets are narrow and often busy with visitors.

We plan arrival and parking before the truck rolls, so a job here does not mean blocking a historic street any longer than it has to.

Officers Row Junk Removal FAQs

Common questions from customers in the historic district.

Do you serve the Officers Row area?

Yes. Officers Row is part of Vancouver, which is our core service area, so we are there regularly.

Are you careful with historic buildings?

Yes. We carry rather than drag, protect thresholds and stairs, and plan the route out before we start. Tell us about any protected surfaces when you book.

Can you handle an estate or downsizing cleanout?

Yes. Whole-home and multi-room cleanouts are routine work for us, and we sort for donation where possible.

Where do you park?

We plan it with you in advance. The streets here are narrow, so knowing the access point beforehand keeps the job quick and keeps the street clear.

Do you remove renovation debris?

Yes. Restoration and remodel debris is a normal job, as long as it is non-hazardous material we can legally carry.

How is the price set?

By the volume your items take up in the truck, plus material type and labor. Rough estimate by phone, firm price on site before we load.

Do I have to move anything to the curb?

No. We remove items from wherever they are, including attics and basements.
