Our Story
Founded by Ben and Suzy Pederson, the company was built on the belief that customers deserve honest service, transparent pricing, and dependable results.
In Ben’s Own Words
Junk Heroes was built on the same principles that guided me through my service in the United States Air Force: discipline, integrity, hard work, and taking care of the mission no matter what.
I served with the 48th Intelligence Squadron out of Beale Air Force Base in California. That experience shaped how I approach everything: showing up prepared, doing the job right the first time, and treating people with respect. Those habits didn’t stay on the flight line. They came home with me and became the foundation of how we run this company.
After years of building service businesses, I started Junk Heroes to bring that same standard to junk removal and hauling in the Vancouver and Southwest Washington area. We don’t cut corners. We don’t leave messes. We treat every job, whether it’s a full load, a garage cleanout, or a same-day curbside haul, like it matters, because it does.
This is a family operation. My son Sam works alongside me, and my wife Suzy helps keep the business running strong behind the scenes. We’re local. We’re veteran-owned. And we show up ready to work.
